Infinite possibilities. Whether replacing a keyboard or flying drones, the Gest controller offers an innovative answer. When the Apotact Labs team approached Pushstart, the controller technology was embedded in a glove, much like less-impressive predecessors from the gaming space. The client team asked us to make this innovative, unconventional object feel completely natural.

Wearable challenges. We grappled with wearables-specific questions like how to handle varying sizes, make it comfortable, and design for both high-volume manufacture and a low-volume beta without breaking the bank. To find answers, Pushstart made a series of user testing models. Once users helped us discover what the product wanted to be, we figured out how to present it to the world.

Pushstart was able to understand our users and product very quickly and with immense depth. They kept pace with our product cycle, iterating quickly while maintaining top quality which was key to our success as a fast-moving startup. They provided invaluable insights that helped us make the correct tradeoffs in design and manufacturing choices. Above all, working with Pushstart wasn’t like work at all, but rather a fun, inspiring, and educational endeavor.
